Having recognized that Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is a unique type of business in which the server organization is required to act as an extension of its client’s department. Hence, this requires extensive understanding of different systems and processes that may be running at the client’s premises. Moreover, server (BPO) organization’s staff also needs to understand the legal and social requirements of the area where the client organization operates. Unfortunately in Pakistan, each year, more than 205,000 students appear for different accounting degree/diploma examinations and certifications but only 10,000 qualify as professionals, and this leaves a large gap between ongoing business demand and adequately trained professionals for both domestic and international markets. Further, the students accepted as ‘qualified’ often lack a good understanding of the issues and complexities associated with the modern competitive business environment. Further, they also lack the understanding of business tools and techniques. Therefore, the main objective of SpeciaPro is to address the paucity of marketable professionals having full knowledge of the systems, process, workflow and project management. Further it intends to make training accessible and commiserate with the demands of the local industry and emerging global trends. In this manner, Speciapro aims to act as a ‘catalyst’ for alleviating unemployment as well as stunted economic growth.
THE SPECIAPROSpeciaPro envisages providing state-of-the-art, employment-related training, which is compatible with national and international standards.
